faster deliveries

Our mission is to redefine urban logistics by building the most practical and sustainable drone delivery network in New York City.

As the city’s leading drone technology and service provider, we understand that true innovation is measured not only by what is possible, but by what is realistic, scalable and safe.

Top Drop NYC aims to bring New Yorkers faster, greener, smarter deliveries while setting the global standard for drone logistics in complex urban environments by establishing dedicated routes across the Hudson and East Rivers. We are creating a model that connects NJ, Brooklyn and Queens directly to both the East and West Sides of Manhattan—eliminating the bottlenecks of traffic, tolls, and congestion. This approach positions New York as the first densely populated city in the world to adopt a drone delivery system designed for long-term growth.

Top Drop NYC Air Bridge

An air bridge is a dedicated aerial route that enables drones to safely and efficiently transport mail and goods across natural or man-made barriers. For Top Drop NYC, the air bridge represents a fast, congestion-free corridor over the Hudson and East Rivers that directly links New Jersey, Brooklyn/Queens to Manhattan.

Instead of relying on crowded bridges, tunnels, or streets, our drones create a seamless aerial connection—delivering items in minutes, reducing traffic, cutting emissions, and showcasing the future of urban logistics. This air bridge is the modern equivalent of building a bridge in the sky, purpose-built for New York City’s unique needs.

The Math

With each DJI FlyCart 30 able to lift 85 lb per trip, a fleet of 3 drones completing 30 trips each per day can move up to 7,650 lb of mail and goods daily across the East River. Split evenly, that’s about 3,825 lb/day flowing from Brooklyn into Manhattan and another 3,825 lb/day from Manhattan into Queens. At only 2.5 minutes per flight, this entire throughput requires less than 4 hours of cumulative airborne time across the fleet—delivering the same loads trucks would haul in hours of traffic, idling, and bridge congestion, but with zero tailpipe emissions and virtually no street-level noise or pollution.

For comparison, a typical 16–18 ft delivery box truck carries around 5,000–10,000 lb per trip, but every run into and out of Manhattan adds to gridlock, toll costs, and emissions. While the drone fleet moves slightly less per day than a single truck’s maximum payload, it does so with far greater frequency, speed, and efficiency, building a scalable model that relieves pressure on urban streets while proving how drone logistics can sustainably complement traditional delivery fleets in one of the world’s most congested cities.

About Us

The team from Xizmo Media that made drones legal in New York City has already proven their ability to navigate one of the most complex regulatory environments in the world. By winning the “David vs. Goliath” battle that overturned the city’s outdated drone laws, they not only opened the skies for filmmaking, inspection, and live broadcast, but also demonstrated the deep technical, legal, and operational expertise required to bring new aviation models into a dense urban core. That experience means they understand both the promise and the limitations of drone technology in NYC better than anyone else—allowing them to identify routes, safety measures, and operational frameworks that are practical, compliant, and scalable.

Because they’ve been on the front lines shaping policy and proving drones can coexist with the city’s infrastructure, they are uniquely positioned to plan and execute the first truly realistic drone delivery network for New York. Their track record shows they can balance innovation with responsibility, creating a model that not only works here but can serve as the global standard for how drones are integrated into the fabric of a major metropolitan area.
